The Real Skinny on the 2018 Louisville PXT X18

This is like NO BAT you have ever HIT before!

Forget what you have heard about the PXT X18 because anyone that purchased one in the month of July
WILL NOT be able to truly give you an opinion till probably around September/October or they can hit a few hundred+ softballs over the next few weeks! But, when your daughter does get it worked in she will be giving it a thumbs up and drinking the drinking the Koolaid so until you work it in...

Why you may ask? Because the the NEW PXT X18 is made with 6 layers instead of the 3 layers in the LXT X18 and XENO X18 so it's NOT HOT out of the wrapper until you get through a couple of layers breaking it in. But when you break it in which takes stronger players 2 - 3 months of hitting balls and get to layer 3,4 or 5 it will be the HOTTEST BAT ON THE FIELD!

How does this bat really feel? It feels more like a DeMarini CFX than it does a Louisville Slugger LXT X18 or XENO X18

Do Not Waste Your Money..Stay With The LXT
Bat is not as hot as the 2015, 2016 nor the 2017 LXT's. I have owned all of those. This bat appears to have the least amount of pop of the last 3 years. My daughter hit with the PXT for about 200 swings the last few days and then we hit with her 2017 LXT, 2016 LXT and then the 2015 LXT. No comparison. The ball does not come off the PXT with the same force. In addition, the PXT is heavier than advertised or appears to be heavier when compared to each other.

✘ No, I do not recommend this product.

    Great Bat!!!
The new PXT from slugger is not only a beautiful product, but it has the performance to back it up. This bat, as stated, is designed for elite players that can generate enough bat speed to get the most out of this new barrel design. Players on my daughters team range from speedy slappers, to on base liners, to power hitters. The players who hit for power, my daughter included, are seeing greater distance out of this product compared with their LXT and Xeno models. Average bat speed hitters are seeing equal performance during tee work, but at game speeds are really seeing this bat open up. The design of this bat isn't going to yield amazing results when hitting off a tee or doing front toss drills...this bat shows its true glory when the ball starts coming in hot, just like in a game. I have no doubt this product will be a winner this year!

✔ Yes, I recommend this product.
