MADISON, WISC. - A day after suffering two tough losses, the Madison College softball team rebounded in a big way with lopsided wins over the College of Lake County in a Region 4 doubleheader on Wednesday at Robert D. Goodman Softball Field. The WolfPack used a big sixth inning to get clear of the Lancers by an 8-1 final in the opener, and then exploded for a 14-2 rout in five innings in the finale. The wins even the all-time series at 8-8 and snap a four-game losing streak against CLC.
