We have two pair and they run true to size. They are lighter than most.

Older DD (17) has the Tanels w/pitchers toe. They are true to size. Going into her second season and they are in excellent condition. With other store-bought brands, she use to go through 2 pairs per season. One rubber cleat did break off (partially) on the Tanels from dragging on the pitching rubber (I think). Also, she has been good about not wearing them on concrete and I think that is helping.

Younger DD (14, catcher) just got Ringors & loves them. Ordered them wide and 1/2 size bigger.

Both girls wear them 5/6 days a week now that it's warm enough to be outside and they are holding-up well.

SouthpawPA: We had the same problem with the drag foot a cleat did break off. It was within the 90 days and they sent us a new pair . That is how we got the second pair. I was going to send them a picture via e mail of where it broke off and they , just asked for my address and size to sent us a new pair. Not sure how many companies would do that.

SBFamily,

Didn't notice it was partially broken off until the end of the season. ?Didn't think about it beyond that. ?Good to hear Tanel took care of you. ?I would buy them again if that's what my daughter wanted. ?The shoe is holding-up exceptionally well otherwise, IMO. ?They are lighter than the Ringor Playmakers my younger daughter wears. ?I am new to the Ringors but I expect to be more than satisfied with them too.

Mine used Ringors when pitching, but used Tanels when batting or playing any other fielding position. Never had a problem with either brand and all shoes are still usable - Ringors are 5 years old and Tanels (2 pr) have seen two and three seasons.
