I suppose the only question I have is should she ask for a meeting with the coach? She knows she is the better player, so what does she even say to them?
How are things going? Just curious to know how the coach treats her other than the playing time issue.
My daughter just gave up college softball for similar reasons. I just want to know what is the deal with grown a$$ men and being mentally and emotionally abusive to these young girls?
I’ve seen it all the past couple of years. Lies lies and more lies. Fat shaming. Picking “favorites” and telling the team that this player will never come out no matter what but the next player better bat .500 or they’re sitting out the next game. Talking about players behind their backs and making fun of them to other players. Making rules like no cell phones between games but only apply that rule to some players, not everyone. Accusing players of lying when they are actually really sick and even have a doctors excuse.
My favorite was my daughter got screamed at and belittled for “taking a bunt away from the pitcher” in practice while at 3rd base. Then wasn’t allowed to practice anymore and had to stand and watch.
Sad to see kids put their hearts and soul into the game and love it so much for some jerk to ruin it.
