Ohio Stingrays 08 played in the PGF Super Elite in North Ridgeville this past weekend that had 45 teams from 17 different states. All 7 Ohio teams represented very well on the biggest stage in 10U softball. The Stingrays went 6-2 and were the last Ohio team standing...finishing tied for 7th!

The Storm played very well at the PGF Super Select in N. Ridgeville. In 3 games the Storm gave up 7 runs on just 9 hits, one-hit the WV Lady Patriots lost 1-0. Then threw a no-hitter against VA Unity lost 1-0 and lost 5-4 to Finesse Davis as the potential tying run was picked off at 3rd base after a passed ball. Opposing teams Aces spotted the ball very well. Overall a great experience for the Storm against top teams from 3 different states. Up next for the Storm is this weekend at the Outlaws BCS Midwest Championships at Berliner, in a stout pool with the Lasers Orange, Ohio Outlaws, Wolfpack Wolff, Ohio Ice Blue, MOV Pride 08 WV. Congratulations to the Stingrays for a great tournament run and all the other Ohio teams on a great weekend.

Lasers Orange played in the PGF Super Select Showdown this past weekend. We went 2-2 on the weekend. This was our 6th tourney and the first time we have been eliminated from a tourney. The competition was fierce and some great play was seen. Both of our losses was by 1 run each. The girls fought hard, but came up just short.

The Ohio Wolfpack - Wolff ( 30-6-2 ) also played in the PGF Super Select Showdown this past weekend. Up next for the Wolfpack is the BCS Midwest Championships at Berliner. We are in a "super pool" with the Lasers Orange, Ohio Outlaws, Storm, Ohio Ice Blue, MOV Pride 08 WV too.
