10U Coach's Poll - Week of 6/16/08

Chill 10U playing this weekend at the Road Runner Rendezvous in Wheeling, WV. Can't wait to play against Valley Extreme, Washington Wildfire, and Pittsburgh Spirit. Hope we can match up them, but looks like we have our work cut out for us! However, you can only become the best by playing...and beating the best. Look forward to a good weekend.

If you get a chance try to play the Michigan Mustangs. we played them at the Tune Up. I have yet to see a team that can beat them. They hit at least 10 balls over 150ft. The girls are the size of 16u's. Great team fun to play.

I'd bet the KY Diamond Cats would give most everyone a pretty good run for their money. They too are about the size of any 16U player :-X and can hit with the best. Pitching is good but not out of this world. The Cats don't have as strong a No.1 picther as the Lasers 10U. I believe they will be at the NSA in Columbus and they will run the doors off!! Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Sorry if my post brought out some ill-feelings between coaches.....

DEFINITIELY...not my intention...

In fact I was praising the Athletic abilities and the turn around The Valley STing 10u has made!!!

Great bunch of athletes that did what all travel ball teams should aspire to.... IMPROVE in their skills as the season progresses! What a fabulous season they have had since early-on in the Spano Dome.

Fabulous job girls and coaches alike!

Now, would you other other guys knock off your squabble.... That's the ugly side of sports that no child should have to see or hear.

All of these kids are....our little girls that we love dearly. The one thing I've learned in all this is.....The game will go on when we are gone....the memories, relationships, good days and bad days is all we will have as we grow old. Bask in the glory on glory days and lend an appricative, consoling hug when they make 1000 errors in one game. You'll never get the time back!

Thanks for the compliment! We have been beat a a few times this year..nobody's unbeatable. We got beat at the Dome in Ft Wayne by a really strong Indy Dreams team and here and there by Michigan teams. We'll see what happens in a couple of weeks at the world series at Disney against the southern teams but we are hopeful that we can compete down there.
