So whats the thought on top 10 now that there have been some indoor tourneys at Gplex etc? Heard Ohio Ice Orange took 1st at the Gplex.

I liked Kepple as a coach at 10u, and there is no doubt he had a very strong team. But I didn't see much out of the team at 11u, nor have I seen anything from the fall. Other teams on the list for the top 10 spots in 12u produced more wins last year and in the fall. So my question- what criteria are you using to make decisions about who should be considered the top 10 teams?

Great teams Mantle 07.... I'm gonna say the chix are #1 at the end. All good teams, I think one of those will drop out of the top ten by year end though. Seen em play, they're real good but this list has some true studs on it! Good luck to all teams and coaches this year! I'm not saying which team either.... no offense, just not sure if they belong or not?

All great teams, all battle when they meet. Gotta be some Western PA teams, Pgh Spirit, Silvercreek Stars, Roadrunners that are good.

I like how some put a lot on fall and indoor tournaments/playing. A good number of teams just don't do much because the girls are doing other things and that is just fine. Let them be kids for as long as they can. Hopefully their whole lives they will have a kid like quality in themselves. To me, fall and indoor does not mean a whole lot. Teams will change players and some players will change teams. Indoor does not incorporate some of the game such as very limited roll on gap shots. Those gap shots roll to a true fence, it can possibly change the entire game.
The teams will all be outside soon enough and then the girls will decide the fate of the games being played. And win or lose, the goal is to make them better young ladies to all who come in contact with them. Good Luck to all the 12U teams this coming season!!

The Thunder Elite 99' team will be in the top ten by the end of the year. No doubts. I know they just added a big time hitter (she played with us in their fall league) and an awesome young lady on an already solid team. This team is very well coached and recruits girls well.

Saw Thunder Elite 99 a couple of times last year and they were pretty darn strong. I am sure they will be that much stronger as 12 yo.

I am curious how it goes when Thunder Elite 99 & 00 go head to head?

Seen some really good games this weekend at The pinnacle tournament gotta give a big thumbs up to Ohio Power 12u Great JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!. All the games I personally watched were really good, didn't want to leave no matter how cold it was.

Semi-Final-- (Chix over NOS 6-5) (Power over Ice Orange 6-5) Championship (Power over Chix 3-2) Anyone one of those teams could of won that tourney ...it came down to clutch hits and some great defensive plays and the Power just made a few more to take home a trophy.Nice to see the NOS, heard alot of talk about them, they are solid & well coached;Thats a team that will be playing on sundays! Congrads to the Ohio Power!

yep tournament winner could of gone to any of the teams. There were alot of good plays I saw this weekend. Good hitting and pitching and defense. I love we can play in the winter, but I wish the ceilings were higher. I hate seeing balls hit indoors that hit the ceilings because outdoors they would have went for double or triples. Oh well this is great practice for all the girls. Should really be an exciting year. I was really impressed by some of the talent level I saw.
