14U Coach's Poll - Week of 5/26/08

Ok, I will finally will toot the horn for my team, the Breakers of Rocky River 14u Gold. ?We had the Lady Lasers Red beat 3-0 until the 7th inning when my pitcher began to show signs of her pulled groin bothering her. ?Once we switched pitcher they got their hits and beat us 7 - 3. ?We were the only team in atthe 13th annual Toledo Pre-Season to score on the Lady Lasers. ?We were beat in the semi-finals by the Indy Angels 4-1 on a bases loaded triple in the 5th which just hung on the base line down third.

We took second to Valley Extreme Kiser at the Sunraze Slam and beat Valley Extreme Patchin. ?This is playing short a player from Keystone who joins us this week.

Lasers White and Stingrays- Seeds should move up after their one -two finish at Berliner this past weekend. HoH Force still very competitive but move out of the top 10.

I saw you play in Toledo, you have a nice team. The LL gave up 4 runs in toledo, so I don't think you were the only ones to score on them (unless the scoresheets were wrong). I was really impressed with your 1st pitcher, she could hit the spots.
