USSSA Tournament 2017 USSSA Road To Orlando Fastpitch World Series dates announced!!

Kissimmee, FL: USSSA Fastpitch is excited to announce the 2017 dates for the USSSA Road to Orlando World Series. Partnering with Disney and ESPN Wide World of Sports, USSSA's Road to Orlando World Series is a premier destination championship for teams 8U to 18U. This five game guarantee World Series is designed to bring teams from across the country to one of the world's most popular family destinations-Orlando, FL.

There are two dates for the USSSA Road to Orlando World Series, classified by age group and class division [A/B/C]. The first week of the World Series features our older divisions from 13U to 18U while the second week brings our younger divisions to the Sunshine State from 8U to 12U.

July 10-16, 2017: 13U, 14U A/B/C, 16U A/B, 18U A/B, High School C

July 17-23, 2017: 8U, 10U A/B/C, 11U, 12U A/B/C

Last year, 42 states were represented in the Road to Orlando World Series! Teams were treated with competition, USSSA Pride professional fastpitch games, tournament parade at Champions Stadium, and off time to enjoy a Disney vacation. There is a non-mandatory team gift exchange during pool play that teams can use to interact and engage with opposing teams from different parts of the country.

USSSA and Disney are excited for the Road to Orlando World Series to return next summer. There are no qualifications procedures necessary for entering the Road to Orlando World Series. Interested teams will need to complete the online entry process at www.usssa.com.

Official entry and payment process must be completed by June 25, 2017. The entry fee for all ages and class divisions 10U and older is $595 for the 5-game guarantee format. The 8U entry fee is $395.

World Series Format:

• 5 game guarantee (3 seeded pool games, double elimination)
• Seeding is based on pool finish
• USSSA Fastpitch rules and by-laws enforced
• Teams must be USSSA registered
• Teams who do not play in USSSA events prior to World Series are automatically placed in the "A" division
