ages for defining positions

My 10 y.o. dd has played every positions at some point, but none consistenly except pitcher. At what age do girls settle into positoins? Not necessarily 2B vs SS, but IF vs OF or middle infield vs corners. I know that as girls mature they settle into what fits them best, but at what age(s) does that occur? Just wondering....Thanks in advance for any insight.

It really depends if a girl is a utillity player or has a specific specialty like pitcher or catcher. A girl who is an extremely fast runner may be preferred by a coach to be in right field to back up throws to first. A tall girl may be at shortstop or first. Really just coach's discretion, but 14-16U is where most girls will be set in where they play for the most part but there are always exceptions.
