This is a great opportunity to join a program affiliated and working in connection with a PRO FASTPITCH Organization, the Akron Racers.
We already have 9 commitments from some of the top talent in Northeast Ohio with All-League and All-County honors. We are still looking for a Starting Pitcher and an Outfielder, preferably a Left handed slapper or hitter (not required tho).
We will dress like the pros, work out and gain instruction from pro players and D1 coaches, and play the most competitive schedule possible.

RACERS YOUTH FASTPITCH ORGANIZATION TO BEGIN PLAY IN THE FALL OF 2017
Akron, OH --Racers Youth Fastpitch is being developed to continue the ?Grassroots to the Pros? initiative dating back to the roots of the Akron Racers professional softball team which fielded its first team in 1999. The Racers Youth Fastpitch program will begin with ten teams in the fall of 2017 and compete in various tournaments and activities throughout the calendar year.
?This has been a long journey that is rooted in the formation of the Akron Racers Foundation in 1998,? notes Joey Arrietta, President. ?Our efforts, then and now, are to continue providing opportunities for young girls to mature and develop as players and to, hopefully, open doors to college and beyond.?
