Buckeye Elite will be hosting tryouts for 2008 and 2009 birth year players. There will be 2 tryout dates. The first date is July 22nd at Notre Dame high school in Portsmouth Ohio. The second date is August 5th also at Notre Dame. Registration will begin at 1:30 and tryouts will be from 2:00 to 4:00 both dates. There is an indoor facility so both dates are rain or shine.
The Buckeye Elite organization aims to provide young athletes a highly competitive softball environment.
Buckeye Elite has been around for nearly 20 years and has alumni from just about every school in the area.
All positions are open and there are coaching opportunities for the 2009 team. We will form more than one team in each age group if there are enough players and coaches.
There are other travel teams in the area that are good options for you but please come see what we are all about before making your final decision.
