We are excited to announce The Kent State Triple Play Weekend!
We would like to invite you to Kent, OH January 4-6, 2019, to start off your year with a weekend of softball events!
The fun begins Friday Night with our Premier Showcase Kickoff!
Those of you who have attended our Live Hitting, Pitching and Catching camp in the past will recognize this event! You can register as a pitcher, catcher or hitter! You will receive instruction from college coaches, as we as Kent State staff, alumni and current student-athletes. This is a more intimate event than our Showcase, as spots will be limited to 24 pitchers, 14 catchers, and 30 additional hitters. The format of this event is instruction followed by live pitching, hitting and catching! A great way to get yourself ready for a big weekend of softball! Cost for this 2 ½ hour event is $50!
Saturday is our Kent State Winter Showcase! The Premier Event in NE Ohio! For decades, our showcase has been the region’s go-to event for prospective college athletes and college coaches to connect. This event provides opportunities for skill instruction in hitting, catching, pitching, infield and outfield. Our cost has been reduced to $50 per session, which includes open admission to our Recruiting Q&A and Mental Training Sessions that are held throughout the day.
On Sunday, we’d like to invite you to participate in our New Year’s Throw Down! You may register a complete team, or as an individual. This event will feature games played on our turf fields, interspersed with skill instruction. Teams will be coached by college coaches! Team registration is $600. Individuals can register for $100, or $50 if they have registered for at least one Kent State Winter Showcase session.

Where: Kent State Fieldhouse
When: 8a-5p
Cost: $50 per session, includes our Recruiting Q&A and Mental Training Session at no additional cost!
New Year’s Throw Down – Sunday, January 6, 2019
Where: Kent State Fieldhouse
When: 9a-7p (approx..)
Cost per team: $600
Cost for individual: $100, or $50 if you have registered for at least one Winter Showcase session
