Saw the 18u schedule last night and there was at least one team I noticed that has already won a berth in Canton. If they play this weekend, does their berth from Canton get passed down automatically to the #2 team? Just curious.

i too had thought berths would be passed down to the first team who did not have a berth in the event a team with a berth wins the tournament ..... does not make sense to have the stronger teams pull out ..... what is the motiviation for any teams to keep playing after winning a NQ tournament?

Thanks everyone! They had mistakenly left us out, but also had some dropoouts due to states so theyre going over the schedule and finalizing it this evening.

Sorry for the confusion. We have had several changes over the last day and have to rework the pool schedules for most of the age groups. I will be finishing them up again this evening and try to get out to everyone asap. Elimination games will begin at 8:00am Saturday and will run into Sunday evening.

Any one have any problems with the college showcase ending @ 1:00 and pool games starting @ 1:30 at a different location? Just asking

I have a problem with me making arrangements based on Sunday's schedule, and now the pool games have changed only two days before the tournament starts.

I should be used to it by now, but it still rubs me the wrong way...

How do you know anything yet about Saturday or Sunday schedule? Maybe Ted didn't forward something to me but at this point all I know is we have pool games on Friday and there will be a blind draw into elimination, made when we check it.
