Bink, I was only with the 12's this weekend. I didn't get to watch much of my 16U daughter's games. Overall, I would say the pitching and catching in the 12U age group was very solid.

I was most impressed with teams that could go into games on day 2. I had played 4 games on Saturday and my team was wiped. My pitching had spent it self in the elimination games Saturday night to keep us into Sunday.

I am quilty of not looking over things during checkin and didn't realize a 4th game was in our agenda for Saturday night. Basically, Sunday for us was a huge struggle.

Congrats to the HOO Force 12U team that went on to the Championship game. They greatly deserved this game.

Overall it was a nice tourney as for the girls play. I saw some great softball there this weekend. It definitely was hot but I guess that was better than the rain last year. The fields could of been a little better condition. But my question is what's the sense in playing pool games if you are going to be seeded at random? I never so a bracket like that before. My DD's team would of had a better draw had they done worse in the pool games, instead the had an even tougher road on Sunday and not rewarded for what they accomplished on Saturday.
