Where is everyone playing? HS or Travel? Mixed team or Varsity and Junior Varsity with shots to earn open spots?

alot of travel players around Cincinnati area are in Chattanooga for scenic city tourney. Indoor starting next weekend for most.

Yeah...The team DD was subbing with there didn't have enough and pulled out last night...so plan B

Seems like many teams starting HS indoor next week and the week after.

Here is a question, with the recruiting season shifting for D1 how many HS teams gonna be down kids who are playing late into November. There are a number of truneys, in the south the next three week. Maybe its a none issue because not a ton of Ohio Travel teams playing? not sure....

NCAA D1 recruiting calendar did not really "shift" for 2017-2018... just more limited. Last year coaches could attend travel games throughout the fall and summer until Nov 23rd - Jan 1st. Then they could come back out again starting Jan 2nd with a few dead periods thrown in there. This season coaches could not really begin to watch travel games after Aug 13th until the Oct 14th - Nov 19th eval period and even then they are only permitted to attend on Sat and Sundays. The rule change will now force OH kids to go on campus to be seen Jan 2nd - May 28th by NCAA D1 coaches as they are no longer able to watch travel ball activities during that period as they could last year. The change does seem to allow D1 coaches to evaluate at scholastic activities during that time frame though, so I wonder if you will see D1 coaches at some HS indoor games this winter when they are not hosting camps/visits.
