New to all this but does a College coach usually respond to a email. Talking about the first email you send to them about the player and there upcoming game schedule.

I am not sure of the exact rules, but I am thinking that a college coach can not respond until July of the student athlete's Junior year, unless it has to do with a camp. If you are on the coaches radar, they will send you an email or call you on that exact day (July 1) I am thinking. My daughter was contacted by her college coach she will be playing for next year at that time. Also, I know of some other student athletes who were contacted on that day and 1 girl was texted or emailed at 12:01 am. But you will have to do some research to the specifics of the rules. I think they are different for each division as well. (D1, D2, D3, NAIA)
