Age Divisions:
10U, 12U, 14U, 16U


Entry Fee: $375 per team ($25 team discount if multiple teams from same organization register at same time)

Tournament Format:
2 pool games with double elimination tournament (minimum 4 games weather permitting)

Pool play and elimination games will have 1 hour 40 minute time limit(finish the inning) and pool play games can end in a tie. Elimination games will use International Tie Breaker except in Championship games.

Pool play record and scores will determine your team's seed for double elimination tournament. Tiebreaker to determine seed wins/loses, head to head, runs scored against, coin toss.

No time limits for Championship games.

Coin toss determines home team for all games. The umpire determines who calls the toss. The home team is responsible for keeping the official scorebook and reporting it to tournament director.

Parking: Parking fees are collected daily. There are great options on pre-paid parking.


Mercy Rule: 15 after 3, 12 after 4, 8 after 5

Facility: (5) 200' fenced, lit fields at Roger Young Park, (1) 180' fended field for 10U, clean brick and mortar restrooms, some shade areas,charcoal grills, children's playground, stocked concession stands, on site softball pro shop, t-shirt vendor, netted batting cage available for use before and after games and shelter houses.

Warm Up Areas: No warm ups are permitted on fields. Hitting balls against backstops and fences is not permitted. Areas beyond temporary fences in outfield can be used as well as other designated areas throughout the park.

Scheduled Times: Teams MUST be ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to start of scheduled game. Failure to field a team at the start of a game will result in an immediate forfeit - no exceptions.

Prizes: 1[SUP]st [/SUP]and 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] place teams and individuals receive trophies. MVP ribbons for all pool play games. 1[SUP]st[/SUP] place teams in each division will be awarded an entry to an ASA Regional National (not a paid entry).

Check In: All teams must be sanctioned by ASA and present signed roster, birth certificates, and proof of insurance prior to play.

Protest Fee: There will be a $200 protest fee payable in cash at the time of the protest. The fee will be refunded to the protesting team if the protest is ruled in their favor. Protest will be reviewed by ASA official and/or ASA certified umpire crew chief. No protest are allowed on judgment calls.

Rain Out Policy: We will make our best efforts to play all games. Rain refund policy is as follows: no games played =$250 refund, 1or 2 games played = $125 refund, 3 games played = no refund. There is no rain date planned. Please allow 4 weeks for refund payments.

Liability: The City of Fremont, The Fremont Frenzy, Joshua Delp, Brandy Delp, Joe Frazier, ASA and Rodger Young Park will not be held responsible for any accident or injury that may occur before, during or after this tournament. Payment of team fees constitutes acceptance of these rules.

Other than the playground, basketball courts, tennis courts, charcoal grills and concessions at the park, there is a lot to do in the immediate area:

-Ice Cream Larrys
-Riverside Mini Golf
-Paramount Cinema
-Fremont Speedway
-Many fast food and sit down restaurants within 5 minutes away
-Fremont Batting Range (indoor and open all year)
-Cedar Point and Lake Erie is 30 minutes away

I have 3 teams to register 10u, 12u, 14u. Black Widows from Ashland. Reg and fees will be in the mail. Also, there is only 12 spots on the roster but I have 13 on each team?

If you need team parking passes please call 419-680-284 and send $75 check to Fremont Frenzy so we can get them in the mail. You can also send a check now and we can hold your passes at the gate.

Like most all tournaments this weekend, two great days for softball on Friday & Saturday, but Sunday started really sketchy. I didn't think there was much of a chance for us to get any games played. Nice job to all the folks in Fremont who worked the fields so the girls could not only get a few games in, but then finish the tournament under blue skies and sunshine! Thanks for the huge effort.
Congratulations Lady Lasers White...excellent team and a great group of girls.
