LC Lightning 12U Blue

LC Lightning 12U Blue is an 06 birth year 12U team based out of Licking and Fairfield County Ohio. Players are generally from Columbus suburbs and east of Columbus. Outdoor practices are held in Pataskala and Baltimore during fall/spring/summer. November through February we will typically practice either in the Newark area or Baltimore. During the winter we focus on hitting, pitchers/catchers and conditioning. Also, during the winter we will work in friendlies or indoor tournament. During the fall, we hold a weekday shorter practice and a longer practice on the weekends. During the fall, we participate in 2-3 tournaments. During the summer, we practice 1 evening per week and participate in approximately 7-8 tournaments, with 1 being a nationals type event. We are an improving B level team, that made many positive strides from September until June. We are specifically looking for hard working players that have parents that support them with additional training outside of the team practices and events. We are looking to add another pitcher. We have a solid core of players that have played travel for multiple years and are looking to increase the overall talent on our roster. Team is coached by Jason Chevalier and Kyle Snider
We will host tryouts with the other teams from our organization at Raccoon Valley Park in Granville (SR 16 and River Road) on Saturday August 4th at 1pm and at Berliner at 2pm on Sunday August 12th (contact us for field confirmation). We are also open to hosting players for private or small group tryouts during the weeks of July 23rd and July 30th. Please contact either of us to set a private tryout up.
