Letting a coach go

Our coaches had to recently let another coach from the team go. The team existed before this other coach came on, and now, the team is so divided. This other coach has and is doing nothing but running the coaches down, and he has been making things up and telling parents that the other coaches said this stuff about their child. In my opinion, if the team was their before this other coach came aboard, why do some of the girls feel they shouldnt do their best and show attitude so badly that other teams coaches remark about it.

Yea, you can not let that go. I made the mistake myself in the past as a new coach, if you do not address as soon as you see it, it will eat your team alive. If you cannot reconcile, someone has to go. Coaches, parents, player, whoever.
