For the poll, not really the same, but we have non parent coaches for our 10u and 14u WWAST teams this year. Parent coaches for 16u.

Non parent coach since 2012. Our 11U coach is also non parent. Our other 4 teams are parent coaches but have proven to be good at seperation

When I started coaching I had my daughter on my team and one of the biggest compliments from other coaches of different travel organizations was they didn't realize I had a kid on the team. My daughter now coaches with me after her college career and we get many players just because we are not a parent of a player that is coaching. I have notice that the parents also behave better knowing I don't have a player on the team.
