The Heat will field a 10U team in 19/20, Coached by Jennifer Justice. Jennifer will be assisted by experienced Heat coaches Scott Urton and Tom Lee who have coached players to the elite D1 level ( incl Pac 12)!! Scott and Tom have coached the Heat - Orange from 10U through 18U, finishing up this summer. Heat - Orange had multiple strong finished in World Series and last season were the USA Softball National Championship runners up.
The Heat will field a Heat 08 team in 19/20, Coached by Derrek Carr. Below is additional info on his assistants. OFC Heat 08 is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Kindell to the coaching staff for the 2019-2020 season. Currently he is starting his 16th season as Lebanon varsity coach where has led four teams to the State Final Four including three teams into the State Championship. Under Brian's leadership, multiple players every year move on to play softball at the college level. His passion is teaching sound fundamentals at a young age as a way of continuing the tradition of seeing players play at the highest level. OFC Heat 08 is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Reed to the coaching staff for the 2019-2020 season. Scott has coached for over 15 years. He has coached at all levels from recreational level A to high competition travel ball with the Ohio Thunder and OFC Heat. Scott has helped over 20+ players, including his oldest daughter at Walsh University, make the entrance to the college level softball, from Division 1 to Division 3. He brings an intensity and passion for the basics of the sport that will facilitate your daughter's success.
