As in every tournament and every year, there are unforessen issues to overcome, some of which we should have anticipated, some that were beyond our control. ?In selecting our tournament date from those few available from Ohio State, we were excited to move our event to the beginning of the season. ?However, what we did not expect was that many neighboring states where many of our non-Ohio teams come from, were either still in their high school state tournaments (Michigan and Kentucky) or in school (parts of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania). ?So, unfortunatly, the amount of out of states is not as high as it has been in the past, but the level of competition from the teams from our state is outstanding. ?We are very excited about the event and feel that it is the best field of any tournament in the state. ?

We are continuing to work with Ohio State on making the tournament experience even better for all that attend. ?You can expect to see some major changes for the better in how the event will work in 2005. ?

We truly appreciate all of those teams that sent in entries and are overwhelmed by the support that these teams have given us throughout the year. ?We will be sending out information on Monday and in the coming weeks, regarding tournament information, hotels, and other pertinant information.

With the exception of teams that sent in one single organizational check, we will be returning checks to teams that we will be keeping on the waiting list on Monday. ?While we wish that we could invite all of these teams we did have to make some very difficult decisions and hope that these teams continue to remain on the waitlist and consider our tournament for 2006. ?Their interest and effort is extremely gratifying for us and we are sorry that we cannot have everyone as a part of the tournament. ?Good Luck to everyone this coming season.

Sorry we did not make the cut to play in your tournament, however, the question I have is why is there 16 teams in each age group except U16 ???
Good luck with your 2005 tournament
