OHIO THUNDER 01
We are very excited to be planning for the 15/16 season. We just wrapped up our 14/15 campaign with a combined 54-26-2 record. We plan to play a very competitive schedule through the Fall and Winter. We will practice in Lebanon and in the Thunderdome in Mason. Please do not allow the geography to eliminate us from your plans as we will work with the right dedicated athlete around practices.

We are looking for dedicated athletes who have a desire to play in college. The organization has a recruiting coordinator in place to assist players and families with their college plans.
Specifically the team is looking for the following, however we are very flexible as we have many athletes who can play multiple positions:
Shortstop
Catcher
3B
OF
We will look at pitchers who can contribute at other positions as well as we intend to play deep into Sundays.
Team speed is also a need, slappers, a plus.
As a reminder, we have an open field practice/scrimmage donate at Lebanon Junior High, 160 Miller Rd, Lebanon, 6:30-9.
Our first tryout is Tuesday, August 4, from 6-8:30 at Colonial East Park in Lebanon (446 Monroe Rd)
We will also have tryouts on the following dates and times:
Saturday, Aug 8th - 2:00-3:50 - Christ Church of Mason - 5165 Western Row Rd, Mason
Thursday, Aug 13th - 6-8 - Fairwood Elementary School - 281 n Fair Ave, Hamilton

LEXI catchs and plays outfield..mostly catchs . Great attitude and has already played with the varsity at her high school. Her batting coach is Steve Gambone 16u LASERs head COACH.she hits and throws left handed..she can drag bunt to first or third and and avg. .500 in travel this year..when catching she blocks well and mostly throws from her knee to any of the bases..4.0 GPA..only problem is she likes 2015 team and they have 2 more tryouts so i am not 100% if she is going to other team..there are only a handful of teams we would consider... I will know more after next sun. If that's to late i totally understand..
