At what age should one consider a kid for lessons? My lefty daughter is 6 and very interested in pitching after seeing few left handlers like herself. Can she use a baseball for a while to get the motion down?

If a 10" Softball is too big, then I don't see the harm in it. My DD started pitching at 9, and it took some time for her to grasp it. 6 seems pretty young, but I wish I would have started my DD out a little earlier. If you can get some instruction on proper wrist snap, arm circles, stride (assuming you don't know it already) then why not.
