Pride 14U
The 2017-2018 edition of Pride 14U, based in Poland, OH, is comprised of a dedicated group of multi-sport athletes who play softball at a high level. We embrace the fact that our athletes also play soccer, basketball, volleyball, etc., and accommodate those schedules. The 14U squad will start with a strong core of 2004 girls who are moving up from last year's successful 12U team. We are looking to add 3-4 girls to our softball family who will be able to start playing tournaments in April next year. We are in particular need of a catcher to share time with our returning catcher. We would also like to add a third pitcher, who would share mound time on an equal footing with our two returning pitchers.

Tryout information: August 5, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. at Fireman's Field, 112 Riverside Drive, Poland, Ohio 44514. Fireman's Field Info Link: https://goo.gl/maps/JbwKqxtV6e92. Private tryouts are also available upon request.
Estimated Fees: $200 plus uniforms. Players will be expected to engage in additional fundraising.
Fall practices will begin after the team is formed. Winter practices will be held indoors weekly beginning in December at the Sluggers facility in Poland. There are additional sessions for pitchers and catchers. Spring practices are held two or three times a week. In addition, we have usually participated in a number of friendlies at the Youngstown State Watts Center.
We anticipate a 2018 schedule similar to the one below plus some fall and showcase tournaments.
