Welcome to the teams and coaches from Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Tennessee boards.

The teams from up North want to come to Savannah and meet up with you. First year is always rough... but we'd like to get this going every year.... and plan for it.

Tell your sister teams and coaches about the event. It's much appreciated.

We have over 350 hits in the last 48hrs. Let's make this a yearly thing to be planned for in the future.

It's off season there, place to stay are reasonable, great weather, not inside playing ball.

Play two indoor events and motels, etc... and for almost the same price.. you could play all week in Savannah. Oceanfront homes and bayside homes for rent. Off season and for what a person could rent a motel room for one night.... you can go together and stay in a beachfront home all week.. Many down there.

Waiting on contract from Red Roof and another chain for 39.95 and 43.95 rooms as well.

Lots of hits.. lots of e-mails... from Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri... one org out of Canada.

Couple of orgs asked about making it a Thursday - Sunday event. I am sorry that we can't .... due to travel for the Northern based teams wishing to enter and getting home before school starts back up again. Saturday (if not used for double elim rain date) and Sunday gives them that chance.

Looking forward to seeing the teams in Savannah this December.

It has come to my attention with a few coaches that they wish to go to the event but don't have enough parents to attend.

If I can make a suggestion here... If two local teams (take for instance 2 Cincy teams) would go down together and go in together and get an oceanfront or bayside home TOGETHER.... then it solves the problem of the girls being chaparoned and the cost not being outragous to attend.

Amtrax is a wonderful solution as well for safety. The train drops everyone downtown and Enterprise... with planning...can have 15 person vans awaiting your arrival. It is two (2) blocks from the train station. REMEMBER: Amtrax gives a 20% percent discount on fares for groups of 20 or more.

I'll put the list of teams wishing this plan on the 1st page - under the teams entered post and lets see what we can do.
