2015 Fall into Madness 2016 ASA/USA National Qualifier and College Showcase

Age Divisions: 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u, 18u

All age divisions will have a bid to the following ASA/USA National sites
10u - Stockton, California
12u - Salem, Virginia
14u - Sioux, Falls South Dakota
16u - College Station, Texas
18u - Bloomington, Indiana
*ASA Eastern Bids will be available for all age groups as well

Tournament Details

• 4 game guarantee. 2 pool games into double elimination
• Pool play will be no new inning after 1 hour 20 minutes
• Bracket play will be no new inning after 1 hour 40 minutes
• Pool play will be straight ASA rules other than "roster bat". Bracket play will be straight ASA Rules
• Entry fee is $550
• Pool play will begin at 8:00am on Saturday September 26th. All teams must be able to play at that time.
• This is an OPEN event. All teams are invited to participate, but they must be ASA Sanctioned and be able to provide proof of insurance, ACE certification, and Concussion certificates
• Out of State teams are also able to qualify and participate in the Showcase.
• Tournament ASA will be used to provide up to the minute updates throughout the tournament
• All fields will have temporary fences
• This is a stay and play event. We have partnered with TEAMINN who will get us some of the best rates in the area that weekend. Contact Kim Kubiak at 440-539-4738 or at kim@myteaminn.com
• Also keep in mind that the City of Columbus will be charging a $5 parking fee per day.

The format has changed for this tournament as we now have bids in every age division for ASA/USA Nationals in 2016. The 6 game showcase format for 16/18u is now flipping to a 4 game (2 pool into double elimination format) just like the rest of the age groups.

We are extremely excited to be handing out ASA/USA bids in the Fall at one of the premier complexes in the State.

That post really belongs in another area, but no the M C Madness organization is no longer fielding teams. I am with the Lasers Orange, but the name of the tournaments I host will remain the same with some possible slight modifications.

I would be focused on the fact that you can qualify for ASA/USA Nationals in the Fall which is a huge bonus for any team going in to next summer.

Fortunately, we don't have to have an organization to run a tournament. Mark is an incredibly knowledgeable tournament director regardless of what organization he is working...I mean, VOLUNTEERING...with. He just wants to run quality tournaments for all the strong teams in this area!
