Remember to tell your DDs that this time of year, Tournament time is a very exciting time, but that also is a time that 40% of the young ladies will never lace them up again after that last game. Remember to have them win with grace if at all possible, as it could be a moment of closure for those on the other side of the field......

Excellent post. I think that gives us some perspective as parents too, as those parents on the other side of the field are experiencing their own closure. Very well said.
