I'd also like to just put a plug in for young ladies to consider attending and playing junior college to start off their college careers. It's a great way to play some good softball, while getting the first year or two of college classes behind you at a fraction of the cost as their are often an abundance of scholarships available. My daughter assisted Bryan at Tri-C for a couple of years until her schedule no longer allowed it, and I got to see a lot of games and was very impressed with the level of play.
