Our USA Patriots WWAST "Lady Warriors" have a need for players this weekend Dec 7-9 for the "POLAR EXPRESS SOFTBALL TOYS FOR KIDS CHARITY TOURNAMENT". Sorry for the short notice, but we just decided we could do it to fill a spot.
**PITCHERS**, If your looking for a team or may be, for Summer, this might be a good weekend to tryout for us and us for you. We still have a need for pitching this summer. Message me for our summer schedule, fees, and any other information. We have a very strong experienced roster.

Coaches, Please find attached the schedules for December 7 & 8, 2019. Thank you all for your patience and attending the tournament! Its that time of the year to give back through the holidays. I’d like to go over a few tournament reminders for the Polar Express; there have been a few teams cancel (a 16U, 12U, and 14U) at the last minute for various reasons so the schedules are slightly adjusted. We have done our best to accommodate all 16 teams requests.
The Gplex has a turf field so NO metal cleats only tennis shoes or indoor turf shoes permitted; no EXCEPTIONS. Saturday Pool play on December 7, 2019 will be two 70 minute games for 10U-16U teams; 18U will be two 60 minute games. Mercy rules are 10 runs after 4 innings and 8 runs after 5 innings. Teams will play with a maximum of 8 players on the field having no right fielder and a maximum team of 15 players for this tournament; open substitutes are permitted. All divisions will use drop 3rd strike and there will be no balls played off of the netting; the batter will get 1 strike “warning” the second ball hit off the net will be out. Doubles, Triples, and Homeruns are based off the beams located in the Gplex (1st beam will be declared a double, 2nd beam will be declared a triple, and the 3rd beam is a homerun as long as the ball does not hit the ceiling netting.) The playing field will be ¾ field except at 3 time slots (will affect 3 time slots and primarily 10U teams) to get all teams their 2 games during pool play. You can warm up in the ¼ field behind the netting. We are playing indoor so please remember spacing is limited so please share. No one team has any advantage and everyone will be afforded the same opportunities. Benches are on a first come, first serve bases. Please remind your team to clean up in a timely manor after your games, there are trash cans all around the Gplex. Proof of insurance is due at check in at the front gate if you have not emailed it in yet. Sunday’s Bracket play on December 8, 2019 will be 6 inning games or 75 minutes whichever comes first. Championship games will be a maximum of 6 innings unless it is tied at the end of the final inning then we will continue with an International Tie Breaker using bases loaded and two outs. Tie breakers will be 1) head to head, 2) run differential, 3) runs allowed, and 4) coin flip to determine seeding for Sundays bracket play.
Medals will be awarded to all 1st place winners. There is a $5/per person entry fee for all spectators as well as children 5 and under are free. There will be Polar Express Tshirts (short and long sleeve), and sweatshirts for sale next to the concession stand between $15-$35 in pricing. There will be a box located at the Entry gate for gifts (which all players are asked to bring) for aged children newborn – 18 Years old that are sick in the hospital and/or homeless shelter children.
