Ohio USSSA - Central/Southern State Tournament - June 16-18, 2017.
USSSA - 2017 National Championship Qualifier (NCQ)
Venues: Pickerington Central & North HS - Pickerington, OH.
Preferred format is 2 games pool play seeding into a double-elim championship format.
Age Groups offered: 8u-cp/10u/11u/12u/13u/14u/15u/16u/18u.
USSSA - 2017 State tournament open to 8u-cp/10u/12u/14u/16u/18u teams. National Berths for the top 2 teams and also highest placing "odd year" team if not qualified (9u, 11u, & 13u). National Championships locations are listed here: 2017 USSSA National Championships link.
This is also a Ring event. Ohio USSSA will award State Champion rings to each division winner and State Finalist rings to the runner-up. No minimums. We will also award 3rd place individual awards regardless of entries in each division. If we get 3 teams in an age group, all 3 get awards!
This event is the Central/Southern State tournament for Ohio in 2017. Teams advancing on to the USSSA post season must participate in this event to be eligible to move on. Right now we are offering the traditional age groups in an Open format. We will break down by age group (9/11/13/15) or/and class (A or B) if we get more than 6 teams that fit those parameters in an age group. Example: 14 teams sign up for 12u of which 8 are A and 6 are B. We will run those as separate brackets as 12u - A and 12u - B. The same will apply if enough odd year teams sign up. Teams do need to be flexible enough to enter the event in traditional age groups. The 18u division is an open division as is the 10u division.
Entry fee is $450. Note that 8u is $325 and will follow the same 4 g/g format. We do offer multi-team discounts for teams from the same organization. In this event if 2 teams from the same organization sign up, they can take a $25 per team discount. Please send in registration and payment together to take advantage of this.
All teams must be registered with USSSA. If team is not USSSA registered:
