Around 1990 or 91, purchased at the same time, Pearl Jam Ten, and Nine Inch Nails Broken. First and only vinyl purchased was Queen The Game. Had to spin it bakwards.

ZZ Top...Eliminator
Def Leppard....Pyromania
The Romantics...In Heat...not sure what I was thinking!
Motley Crue...Shout at the Devil...or Toss up with Iron Maiden...Power Slave on the fifth one....can't remember!

Anybody have the New York Dolls
220px-Too_Much_Too_Soon_-_The_New_York_Dolls.jpg

Too Much To Soon? I think it was from '74 but I got it used sometime in '77

That was the band that Malcome McLaren based the Sex Pistols (and subsequently all of "Punk Rock" ) on
THey had Johnny Thunders who would go on to form the Heartbreakers with Richard Hell and David Johensen who would do some solo stuff and that Buster Poindexter "HOT, HOT, HOT" thing (I remember Johensen best for being the Ghost cabbie in Scrooged ...)

It was a diffrent time then...

A better topic would be - "What was the last 8 track you bought?" LOL

Foghat Boogie Motel - I do believe -
My '69 Olds Delta 88 had a nice pioneer 8 track under the dash -I later sprang for the Cassett 8 Track Converter to play all the mixed tapes
th

Looked kinda like this - except mine wasn't this nice

Man I always wanted a Falcon - yea for me it was about the Boomin' system - I had that fine Pioneer tape player hooked up to a sweet set of Realistic Hi-Fi speakers i got at a garage sale (I still have them) - there was so much room I could put those big old speakers on the back deck and I could still see out of the rear window. Sweet!

Pink Floyd--Dark Side of the Moon
Fleetwood Mac --Rumours
Meat Loaf -- Bat Out Of Hell
Queen--A Night at the Opera
Convoy, and Dumb Ditties--K Tel Records compilation!

That's about it for me. After these I probably bought every Night Ranger album they made.
