Wizard Wind Down, Maumee, Ohio

The Wizard Wind Down took place this past weekend. The 10U portion had 6 teams entered. The 10U Adrian (MI) Lookouts came out on top with a perfect 6-0 weekend. Of those 6 wins, two came v. the Findlay Blackhawks. Each of the contests were decided by one run, the championship final ended with a 7-6 (7 inning affair) victory for the Lookouts over the Blackhawks. Another well run tournament by Martin Drain and the Wizards Association.

The 8u division was won by the Loco Mamacitas over the Conneaut Canons of Pennsylvania. It was good to see that the teams traveling the greatest distance had success here.

Tied for 3rd were the Adrian Lookouts from Michigan and the Wizards Fire.

Tied for 5th were Wizards - Bowers and the Northwest Ohio Lady Irish.

Thank you to all of these 8u teams for coming. This is the largest 8u field that we have ever had at our Wizards tournaments. We hope to have all of you back next season whether you are staying at 8u or moving up to "big girl ball" at 10u.
