I will follow up with an e-mail this evening to each coach/contact person.

Any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me! I will be on my e-mail from 8pm on. I will not be available by phone this evening (Sorry my kids have games tonight).

Just wondering as I am umpiring there... if it rains on Saturday (as they have predicted it will rain until early afternoon.... will you run the round robin on Sunday if Saturday is a wash out ?

With previous experiences by some, not too well. But, the last year and a half, I have had no problems. (knock on wood) I have only cancelled a few events due to rain (less than 5). We will have a 5 man grounds crew on hand and ready to work. We have 1.5 pallets of diamond dry ready and available. We are definitely prepared to get this event in!

Fair warning, I have a heck of a track record with rain following me where ever the tournament will be! Heck I even flooded out Zanesville last August on Sunday and I do mean FLOOD!

I work at the Air Force base. I'll have them put up the Storm Shield? up around the base this weekend. That should keep most of the heavy stuff away.

I will have a message on my cell around 5:30 am updating field conditions. We are prepping tomorrow afternoon. If any problems arise tomorrow, I will send out e-mails and post on the boards!

We will get games in. Might have to wait until tomorrow though. Fields are not under water.... Just too mushy to play on them at this moment and there is just enough of a drizzle to keep the wind from drying them out.

I am holding off on calling it because the radar looks like everything could push to the East and miss us. But, I'm not quite sure that we are going to have enough time for the fields to dry enough to get on them today.

I will update the board and phone message @ 9:30 a.m.

BUT, rest assured, we will play some ball this weekend. I MIGHT have another field available to me so that the format doesn't even change! I'll keep everyone updated!
