Sent you a PM. ?But stay away from any camps that ?have large turn outs. ?Plus watch who is teaching your dd how to play. ?Just because you play the game doesn't mean you can ?TEACH someone to hit!

Our organization runs two camps a year in WVA and my advise would be to look for ones with student/instructor ratios of no more than 4/1. Too many cattle herd camps out there. We break ours into groups of 2-4 students per hitting station and no more than 2 pitchers per instructor at a time. Look for small camps 10-20 kids max. If you cant find that in your area, I would say to stick to private or semi private lessons!

The Ohio Wave Fastpitch Organization runs two camps for younger players at The Academy each year. It is geared towards 8 - 12 year old players and it is an all day camp. Areas covered are Pitching, Hitting, Fielding, and Catching. We provide lunch and a T-Shirt for each player and the Ohio Wave coaches do all of the instruction. The cost is $35.00 per player.

As a follow-up we have an intermediate camp the following weekend for those who are interested, including being able to play one or two games. This is an additional $15.00. We have excellent response to these and they are a blast to run. Plus we can do it rain or shine in the indoor facility

These camps are held as follows:

March 8th "Fastpitch Training Camp"

March 15th "Advanced Skills Camp"

If interested please feel free to contact us at ohiowave@woh.rr.com , check out the website at www.ohiowave.com or call at 937-603-6136 for more information.

Thanks,
