Not sure who won the league but I think it may have been Marysville HS team. Correct me if I am wrong.

West Liberty-Salem had two freshmen hit the homerun sign.

Thanks to Playmakers for putting on a well ran league!!

I went out there and watched a few games on Sundays. I know a girl from Mechanicsburg hit the sign. Last week, a girl from Dublin also hit the sign. Marysville Varsity did great, but I believe going into yesterdays games the 18U heartbreakers had a 1 run advantage on them, just a rumor I heard. I don't know about the outcomes of yesterdays games though.

PC SOFTBALL you are correct. Butter was one of the freshman that hit the dinger sign. If it was anything like the blast that she hit down at Sinclair then it must have been a huge shot. She had the umpires at Sinclair wanting to change the rules and give her a home run instead of a ground rule double. They said they had not seen a ball hit that hard in there this winter.

Not to mention she is a great kid. :)

The Heart of Ohio Heartbreakers 18/U did win.
Marysville gave up a stupid run to Mechanicsburg Gold team early Sunday afternoon. and that was the difference in championship and second.
Marysville Varsity and the Heartbreakers were tied after 15 weeks. When they played each other they tied 1 to 1. League goes to runs allowd. Marysville gave up 7 runs Heartbreakers gave up 6.
What is funny about it is last year Marysville won because the Heartbreakers gave up 11 runs to there 10.
Great season.

I've watched Marysville and Heartbreakers play, both are excellent teams.
Ralph Miller also ran the Saturday league and it is agreed, he does a great job.

Can anybody tell me about that pitcher Dublin Scioto had. She wasn't very big but man she sure could throw the ball. Looks like Dublin has a pretty good pitcher this year.

Taylor Martin , Dublin Davis Middle School 7th Grade, Heart of Ohio Rush 12U. Scioto likes to test them early in thier careers against High School Hitting.

She sure had them on the ropes yesterday.
I noticed the Dublin coach used the old switch the catchers to stall routine.
I thought I saw the Canadian defense used in the second game, could be wrong.

I think the Dublin parent/coach resorted to the switch when he noticed Time stood still on the running clock. Must have been a malfunction in the wiring.

sundial, something is wrong with that clock I've also noticed it stalls on occasion. I told the guy in the booth and he said he didn't notice but would keep an eye on it.
