Add a pic????

Can someone out there please tell me how I can add one of my pics to my image on my profile????

PLEASE!!!!!!

In kid terms please..... lol

First click on your user name, which should take you to your "profile" page. ?In the top, right corner, you will see "modify", click on that. ?It will then ask for your "password", type that in and click confirm password. ?You will now be at the "Edit Profile" page, ?along the top, click on "options." ?Scroll down and you will find, "I have my own pic," check the little box, and on the line to the right, enter the URL for the picture you want to use. ?After entering the URL, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "change profile," and you should now have your picture uploaded onto your profile. ?

Probably a stupid question but I will ask it anyway. How do you create a URL to the picture you want to use.

You'll have to upload the picture to the internet somewhere. Possibly one of those picture sharing sites.

Open the webpage that displays your picture; right-click the picture and choose properties. That will bring up a property sheet. Copy the address of the picture and paste that link in a new internet browser window. If the picture comes up, then you should be able to link that picture to your profile.

As long as the picture can be found anywhere on the WWW, it can be easily used by the method that cshilt has provided.

Bird,

Go to the following internet picture site and sign up - it is free. http://www.villagephotos.com/

Download your pictures there. Once you download the picture - you will see "Copy URL" under the picture. Just click on that and then go to your OFC profile page and then "Paste" in appropriate place.

After you go through the process once, you will find it easy to change your picture.

Thanks for the info and I think Johnnies looks very distinguished in his new glasses. Much better than the out of focus pic he used to have.

there is also www.photobucket.com or www.clarkcolor.com

these sites are free. this is where we download our pics to,then grab the url from there.

just dont have your eaten by Ringer! and katjoebenmom now has better cat pics than I do..johnnies pic is sure to freak you out at some point, I think it's meant to distract the enemy...I think his girls wear the pics on their uniforms ; :
