Congratulations to the 12u and 14u Static Black teams. Both teams won the NSA World Series Qualifier this weekend in Gallatin Tennessee. They overcome some tough competition and rough weather to become tournament champions.

Nice job ladies were proud of you. Both the 12U and 14U finished with a 5-1 record.

Also congrats to our 10u on winning their first tourney.

Coach Rob,

Thanks for the acknowledgement on winning the Thunderstick Classic. It was a tough tourny & add in the 6 hour rain delay on Saturday made it even tougher. The grounds crew did a great job in getting the fields ready - Triple Creek is a very nice complex. The 12U girls overcame some difficult situations & I really believe they began to gel more as a team this weekend. I was really happy to see our bats come out in a big way.

Also, congrats to Coach John & his 14U team for winning their division. They faced some really tough competition & his team showed great fortitude & determination.

Overall, a good weekend for the Static organization!!

I really appreciate the comments also. Our girls played some very stiff compitition. They never gave up and never got down on each other. The static girls represent the name STATIC in class and hard play. It is just a pleasure to find a home with these girls and know everyone is behind them.

Whenever the 14 wasn't playing they would go and root for the 12u. It was great. I cannot wait till summer and play every weekend.

The 12u was very impressive. This team will only get better. They have a great fit in coaching. Coach Kavin does a great job keeping the girls to play hard and Coach Lane does a fantastic job in keeping morale and motivation.

Couldn't agree more about the girls having a home/organization that will support them regardless of the outcome. The weekend was great for the all the girls as they had a chance to get to know their team & our 12U team began to understand why your 14U girls are our role models in how they play & conduct themselves.

This summer should be fun!!!!

Way to go girls!!! Both the 12U and 14U did great in Nashville. We looked AWESOME bringing home first place in both divisions. Keep it up.

Thanks for the acknowledgment. The girls are really looking forward to the B.G. trip. We have a lot of work to do before we head your way - need to focus on a lot of little things if we are going to be able to compete at this level. This weekend's games in Dayton will be a real stretch for us as will the games in B.G.

Thats what I gathered from their website and seeing that they won this tourney!

It is nice to see them perform so well! ?I hope we can hold our own, I like seeing good games. I am not familiar with the Ohio Diamond Deamons or the NWO Lady Buckeyes.

I don't know squat about the other teams and any team can play with anyone on any given day, esp with short time limits. I don't have a dog in this hunt , just sayin the static black is a fundementally sound team, not likely to give away runs with poor pitching or loose D. Getting a w over them would be a quality win. MD

Thanks for all the kind words in the above posts. To be tranparent, we have a lot of work to do- the girls need to improve in a lot of areas as well as us coaches, before anyone needs to qorry about us. The only thing I will say about our team is that the girls never give up - & that's what I like the best. Anytime we get a win, we really have to work for it.

Thanks for visiting www.cincystatic.org - our 10U coach, Les, has put a lot of work into it as well as Coach Rob (16U). They have done a nice job making it fun for the girls & user friendly. It would be even better if the other coaches (i.e. ME!) would get them the stuff they have requested
