Central Crossing 5,

TW was down 5-1 in 7th, but got tying run to plate with one out and 4 and 5 hitters up, but could do no more. C. Crossing second baseman had as good of a play as one can possibly make. It was a one-hop rocket to her left. She laid out on a dive and was completely horizontal and got the ball in the end of her glove and then the throw to first.

Greenville 4 (5-0)

Covington 1

Sr. Pitcher Kyli Gunkel remains perfect on the season and the defense remains strong as always.

The return to DI for Greenville is off to a good start.

Hey Joe,

I heard about that play! Her name is Alissa Turkovich - great ball player - even better kid!

Sounds like it was a good game.
