No phone calls regarding cancellations yet. As far as I know, it is still a go. We play at Lancaster High at 4pm so I'll be leaving the office soon.

Hey Bill or anyone,
Our team is staying at Holiday Inn Express in Pickerington.
What's the best way to get there from Miller Park tonight after 9:15pm game?

Trying to figure out 33 west?

Looks like "Best of the Best OFC'ers" will be around Lancaster tonight & tomorrow!!

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Bold1,

I would just take 33 west to 270 north to 70 east. The Holiday Inn is at the 70 east Pickerington exit. You could get off 33 at Diley Road and take a round about route through Pickerington but its not going to save you any time.

Man. retired coach, Jeff D and everyone else in Lancaster, I feel for you guys. That's two years in a row of this (or is it three in a row?). That really stinks. With all those fields and games, that has to be a nightmare.

It is raining hard right now in Lancaster (or is this Seattle?)...........I haven't heard anything, but if I do, I'll post right away.

joeA-Last year we lost 2/3 of Saturday's games, and 2006 we lost Friday's games. In 2006, we had 2" of rain on Friday evening, but we still got all of Saturday's games in. Martens and Lancaster HS drain really well. Miller has a couple of diamonds that don't drain as well. I also believe that Fairfield Union and Fisher drain pretty good.

As of noon today, all diamonds were ready to go...........Not sure now..........

As of 3:25, all games are on as scheduled (Of course that can change in a heartbeat....). It is sunny as I type, but there are dark clouds to the north starring down on Lancaster................

Mount Gilead 11, Millersport 2

We heard this was the only game being played in the whole schedule. The skies opened up at 4:30 pm. Millersport coaches and volunteers worked on the field, did a great job of getting it ready, and the game started an hour late. Newark-Johnstown were waiting to go and I would think got their game in as well. The Utica-Delaware Hayes game was next, but I know heavy rains hit again later, so I am not sure if that game made it.
