This will be a sanctioned ASA tournament so yes you need to be sanctioned

Jon,
I'm not sure how many people know where the park is or has ever been to it. You might want to give a description of what the complex at Melvin Miller Park is like. I know you guys are pouring a lot of money into it and I'm very impressed with the complex. Should make for a very nice tournament with very nice fields.

Do you guys have 9 fields all at the same complex? I know there's a bunch but I was confused last time I was there as the field behind our practice field was labled 13. Do you actually have 13 fields there?

Urbana City Parks have 13 Fields

2 Adult slow pitch diamonds
2 tee ball Diamonds
3 Minor league baseball diamonds
1 little league diamond
5 Fastpitch diamonds (4 @ Melvin Miller Park and 1 @ the intersection of railroad and Gwynne Streets)

Tournament will be on the 5 fastpitch diamonds and possibly on one of the slowpitch diamonds

Going to try to get the High school field also

I think you are stalking me Jim. You know we can scrimmage all year long, you don't have to follow me to all the tournaments just to play us. Also Jim, you know whoever loses between Heat, Ridge and Lunachix, that Coach is buying for everyone, or we can just nominate Badmedicine to buy. What do you think? I nominate Badmedicine, afterall this is his first year of travel ball and he has alot of catching up to do on the expense end of things so him buying the beer will not hurt - sorry Badmedicine but you are elected the official beer buyer for Summer Slam 2.

Paul, after coaching with you for nine years, I think you owe me for skipping out last year.....I'm still suffering mental anguish from that experience.

Remember, the tournament is at Urbana, which means we're paying the umps. I can buy beer for a couple Umps a whole lot cheaper than coaching staffs.

You know, on second thought, I might just go ahead and buy BEFORE the games. That way I've got a better chance of winning. Does Sam's club sell beer? Walmart may have a Wally World version of Heineken. I might be able to afford that.
