I know, pickledad will be over here soon trying to kosher/dill/squeeze me into a jar before you know it...
but, the laser peeps have been relatively mum lately...have they taken the bigtrain route? have they mysteriously been abducted by something Mulder would have investigated? maybe they are on a "Lost"-type island where they are being chased by the "Others" (ie, Slammer nation) into submission or death...who knows, but a statman can have a wild imagination! ;D

One of the reasons that I beleive the Buckeye Heat went with the birthyear for some teams was to eliminate the confusion between the two Buckeye Heat 14U teams. Last year, as a 12U team, my team was know as Buckeye Heat - Clark. This year, we moved up to the 14U division there are now two 14U Buckeye Heat teams and both are coached by "Clarks". (no relation) It would really confuse everyone if both were called Buckeye Heat - Clark, hence the new names - Buckeye Heat 93 and Buckeye Heat 94.

Just curious if any of the voting coaches could speak about what criteria they based their decisions on in ranking the teams. Strength of schedule?, Head to head competition, watching team play, team reputation, etc.

Going to be a fun year, just 45 days or so away from lacing them up! Although partial to 14u, looking forward to seeing the 16u Sapphires do battle with some of the other teams in that 16u Poll also.

That was just a personal twist meant as fun, since it is also a color, following along & playing off the Laser colors theme - was actually surprised it got picked up for a reply or 2. All in good fun, and good wishes to all present & former team mates & friends. Is Dakota still lacing 'em up with the "team of many colors", have you consolidated your tribe to one Org for travel economics & simplicity?? Hope you are well!!
