1st Place - Gahanna Lady Lions
2nd Place - Nordonia Lady Knights
3rd Place - Pickerington Xtreme Heat
4th Place - Central Ohio Lady Rage

Some great games down the stretch between the top 3 teams. Gahanna comes out out the losers bracket to win 5 straight on Sunday including the last 3 over Pickerington 2-1 and the Lady Knights 5-2 and 2-0. Really enjoyed the 3 games with our old friends from Pickerington and our new ones from Nordonia.

Thanks to all that participated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a great time. Our girls lost the championship to a good team that deserved to win. We hit hard hit balls all over the place but the Lions defense played great. Congrats also to the Lady Rage team from Marysville. Their coach said they did not win a game this year until this tournament and then they go out and take 4th, Great Job Ladies!!

Jeff,
Great team you have there! I really enjoyed their competitive spirit. They hit the ball hard and never gave up.
Fun to watch.

On the Lions side, best defensive game all year. What a display of character and desire!
They topped it off with a visit to Brittany Anderson's (Brian's daughter) grave site to deliver her trophy.

Funny, you mentioned the Lady Rage team. If I am the mom or dad of the catcher for them, I am beaming today. She took a beating back behind the plate against us and she never complained always popped right back up ready to defend the dish. Congrats Lady Rage.

Buckeye- Thank you for those kind words. I don't want to get too personal but I can not imagine what Brian and his family have gone through. If we didn't have to travel 2 hours home we would have liked to go with the Lions to deliver the trophy but know that we offer our support to you all. God Bless!!

THANK YOU, I am the DAD of the catcher for the Lady Rage and I do appreciate the kind words for my daughter, twice this year she has broken her finger (once her middle on the throwing hand and once her pinkie on her throwing hand) and she has stayed and played, when she caught a foul ball off her middle finger we were playing a double header in rec league, she cried not because it hurt but because she could not stay and play the second game, She played school ball with her broken pinkie to finish the year. Anybody out there want a gritty player? Though we love the rage our coach is moving up to 16-u next year and we are most likely staying at 14 -u to better our skills, again thank you for the kind words to my daughter, Brian voted her the most dirtiest girl of the tournament!!!LOL

Shayne,
Who says competitive athletics does not teach you life lessons?
Life slaps you down, you get up, dust yourself off, and get back at it.

Lady Rage::

Our starting catcher is Lacy Gibson who has done one heck of a job all year. She has a arm like a rifle and determination to win. Thank you Lacy, Em, has learned alot from you not only catching but also from your dad Tony on batting. Smile a little. ;D
