Well softball for one thing!! ;D
i love waking up in the morning for softball no matter what time it is
soft pretzels with cheese
and a lot of other things but my dad is making me get off so i cant tell them to you :'( :'(

Seeing a girl make the rec allstar team for the first time

Forecast in the 70's before a big tournement (this weekend)

Seeing a girl break her foot in 4 places and cry because she still wants to play

Seeing daughter write her teams name on everything she owns

Watching 11 girls go full throttle for 3 games in 90 degree weather

Watching those same 11 girls still kiss their parents goodnite

Not having to deal with any boyfriends yet! (Edith get my gun! )

*catching the high throw and still making a hard tag on the runner sliding into home for an out
*throwing out a runner stealing second
*the sound of the ball off the bat
*getting the last walking taco at the concession stand ;D

my kid throwing a shutout

the other 2 pitchers on dd's team throwing a shutout

the smile on her face at the end of every Sunday because she enjoys being with her teammates

and gotta echo boone on the friendships that remain whether they are still on the same team or not. priceless.

** butterflies before the game

** that nervous feeling when dd comes up to bat first time against a new pitcher

** nice line drives

** diving catches and her telling me as mom tries to clean the scraps, "dad tell mom it is ok it is just skin and will grow back."

** the tears that welt up in my eyes when she comes of the field and tells me she love the game of fastpitch but only half as much
as she loves me.
