Regular Season make-up game

In a game that was rained out earlier this season Greenville and Lebanon got together to compete their series. Here in the rematch Greenville was never threatened as they led the whole way giving up the only run Lebanon would plate late in the game.

Sr. Pitcher Kylie Gunkel (21-4) was in total control as she 3 hit the Warriors. Greenville managed a total of 8 hits off of two different Lebanon pitchers.

Game was suspended after 10 innings due to scheduling conflicts with the ball diamond.
33 strike outs in the game, 16 by Madison?s Kendrick and 17 by Tri-Village?s Fisherback. Both teams gave up 3 hits.

Records on the year Madison 26-2, Tri-Village 17-4. Don?t know if the game will be resumed next week or not. I imagine it will depend if both teams win at district.

Great job pitching ladies, good luck in tournament.

It should be mentioned that in the Elmwood/Otsego game that Brittany Dauterman pitched a no-hitter logging 17 K's and allowing only 1 walk.


Best of luck in your state tournament run. The Royals have the full support of the Otsego Knights in their quest for a D3 State Championship.
