The Vikings Elite lost to the Michigan Pride Elite 6-1 (the Pride Elite are a very good hitting team)

I also believe the GCKA Nightmare scored a couple runs in the bottom of the last inning, to beat the SGS Magic.

Classics Black lost both games today... :-[

Classics lost 6-5 to the Matoon Pride (IL) The girl hit a 2 run walk off homerun to win the game!

Classics lost 3-0 or 4-0 to the Buckeye Heat.

Ohio Freeze fell this morning to the Red Chix 7-6 in a tough loss. ?

In the loser's bracket,

Ohio Freeze over Miami Valley Express 5-4.
Pittsburgh Spirit White 5, Ohio Freeze 1


When we left around 6 pm, Nightmare had lost to Mattoon Pride and was preparing to play the Pgh Spirit White in the losers bracket. ?Classics Black, Vikings Elite, and Stingrays Cottrell had been eliminated. ?Laser's Aqua had made it to the last four undefeated teams.

Huge pitching game by Myers of Nightmare, Huger(?) hit by shortstop - grandslam
Spirit banged up and showed guts, need alot of ice for ride home

Nice tournament for Spirit team

Matton looked good over Nightmare, can't understand why they didn't pitch Myers till late
fans say they are "beat up" but so is everyone this time of year glad to see they pitched the
8th grader late in game looked like they hit ball well just couldn't get clutch hit probably took
them out of contention

Regarding Nighmares loss and probably like some other teams, they lost two starters and Paige Myers had a school commitment that couldn't get out of so she got to the ball park about 45 minutes later. The game was scheduled for 3pm but started about 2:30pm and Paige was to be there by about 3pm.
Matton had a good pitcher and Nightmare couldn't get the hits when needed and three big errors that are normally routine plays. Also not to be a whiner but the first base ump(Nightmare had him twice and was poohie at best) called very questionable calls (as like in many games) where it made it diffcult for the Nighmares. Playing and trying and then lose is one thing but when the umps (especially this one)make some questionable (BAD) calls it seems it puts the game in their hands and takes it away from the teams.

Good Luck to remainder of the teams and no injuries
