August 23-24, 4 game Minimum
3 pool games then single elimination on Sunday
$350.00 entry fee, 30 team Maximum
1st place receives birth in each age group
Trophies and team plaque for 1st and 2nd place

I'll ask as well...Is this an "A" or "B" qualifier, and I assume for Easterns, but some info would be helpful.

Why hasn't there been an answer to the question regarding the berths that are so loudly touted in the thread title? (And yes, I'm cranky this morning; I'm putting together a potential 2009 tournament schedule for review by the coaching staff and I am reminded YET AGAIN how hard it is to put together an overview of ASA tournaments).

I also was hoping we'd have a straight answer soon so I can consider this for our 09' season.

Why do teams/organizations posting tourneys-to-come (NAFA,NSA,ASA,USSSA, etc) on this site, NOT request that the events be added to the master Tourney submission thread. Just my 2cents.

Seeing that it's been over 2 months since the original post...I will go out on a limb and say that it is NOT an ASA "A" WSQ...but most likely an ASA Eastern WSQ.

They posted this on the 2nd, and was last on here the 3rd. If that is all the more communication were going to get from them, I can only imagine how the actual tourney would be run. I would steer clear.;&

You know, I'm looking at the original post and I'm beginning to think that the tournament was August 23, 2008. That's the only way it could be a qualifier for any 2009 world series. Manitou, did you ever get any additional info?

just got off the phone --they were trying to put together a tourney for august of this year but did'nt gather enough interest ---so no, it is not for august 09'
