If we can do catchers and pitchers we can do Center Fielders as well.
Who should we be watching?

Shane Victorino has had a heck of a postseason! He has to be in the conversation... Sorry, I couldn't resist. I just hope he can close the deal in 30 degree weather, not easy for the Fying Hawaiian!!

The Lasers Red center fielder from last year is awesome. Have no idea what school she attends. Never seen a girl cover so much territory.

I'll 2nd the girl from the Lasers Red. At the Toledo Tune Up 6th inning Lasers lead 2-0 and she takes away a triple with 2 on from my clean up hitter. I still can't believe how far she went to catch that ball. We lose 2-0. Lasers go 7-0 and we finish 6-1 so that play was the tournament championship.

I'll third it. I saw her make some plays at Compuware that left my mouth hanging open. On a dead run fileds a one hopper on the infield skirt behind second base and guns the girl down at first. !!!!!

Kelly Roudabush and Kayla Ledbetter
They are in a league of their own and make every play look routine.

Lauren Grimes - Tallmadge - Wolfpack Black (Attack last year). Best I've seen, period.

GCKA. I have no doubt Kayla Ledbetter could play Cf as she would excell anywhere. But with that said I have never seen her play there. Mostly Catcher with some 3B and SS as long as I have known her. What about Mandy A. Isn't she the Nightmares top CF?

Senior Jordan Rausch from Mt. Gilead, and Ohio Freeze in 2009. Has played on several smaller, less known travel team through the years, but will really shine for the Freeze this upcoming summer.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of seeing Kayla first hand against us in Akron. Probably auditioning for the Michigan coach, she made a strong statement with catches that would make the ....Michigan coach....want to sign her? She was nothing short of fantastic!
she saved at least 4 runs, maybe 5 in the game.
The Nightmare are blessed with several players that can play multiple postions, so the pitchers work in a nice rotation of pitch, center field, short, or pitch - first base.

Laser Red Center fielder from 08...covers ground and times the trigger to gun the runners on base. Very impressive. Definitely makes a coach rethink the running game!

Kelsey Price - SR from Teays Valley. She may be playing SS for the 18U Stingrays this year, but she's a very strong CF.

Kelly Fox - Laser Orange, (she lives in the pa though) that girl is a stud CF, the best I have seen since Molly Berry (currently of Wright state) the kid can flat out fly and plays all out.

I agree with GCKA on Kellie Roudabush. Is there anything this kid cannot do! She tracks the ball better than anyone I have seen in softball, and that has been a long time. Don't run on her either. Her only dilema would be what position do I play today!

If he says Ledbetter is in that league, then I hope her coaches give her a shot to play there since she may be there at the next level.

Lions, you won't get an an opinion from GCKA on Mandi A for obvious reasons, but I for one will second she is a fantastic outfielder and I am glad she is a STALLION!!!
