Anyone want to attempt to list the Top 5 "Most Heated/Debated" topics EVER on the OFC?

Mine are:
1) Hitting Theory
2) Player Commitment
3) Organization Commitment
4) Who calls the pitches?
5) Anything Dice Posts

I know this is not in the top five but someone on another post asked for a new topic that was fiesty so here goes. PROPER PRACTICE CLOTHING. From being to bulky to move or see thru to next to nothing. Good Luck with this one!!!!

Changeup...with the popularity of "racerback" jerseys...I just gave up. I convinced myself sports bras are really not bras at all....just part of the uni

1. Who is best team at various age groups? (always a fan fave, with a life of its own!)
2. Big Train - the man, the myth, the legend!
3. Hitting theories - great informative topic, but another excedrine headache! (need pictures!!!)
4. Mere mention of Lasers, Laser parents, Laser Nation, etc. always seems to get somebody going!
5. Best food at venues (okay, my favorite)

This year's election had to be one of the most heated debates, albeit not softball related. It had OFCer's losing all respect for each other. This people, is why they say not to discuss religion or politics. BTW, what happened to rizeball; been pretty quiet since the election. I finally figured out that name came from the fact he was always trying to get a rise out of people.

I can think of several some years back that ended up with a few posters being asked to find other forums to haunt. For some reason most of those seemed to involve a couple of teams out of Cincy.

I think that since it is a softball forum and off topics like politics and the like are a recent addition softball only should be counted for the top five.

Well, other than the ugly political threads recently (and I admit my complicity---mea culpa), there are a few that seem to come up every year.

Almost every new player, parent, coach on the site seems to get involved in this rogue's gallery of "hot button" topics, lol (seems like the wheel has to be reinvented every year).

1. Should the pitching rubber be moved back to 43' for high school?
2. Should facemasks be mandatory for all pitchers and 1st/3rd?
3. Should we opt out if my freshman doesn't make varsity?
4. What to do with players who have problem parents?
5. Daddy ball---should she stick it out, or find a new team?

Sorry for the hijack, but anytime I see someone talk about "racerback" jerseys, it never fails to crack me up because I always hear the girls (mine included) call them razorbacks !!!

Guess they don't know what a real razorback is, lol.
